A real blockbuster from @Jason Berry at Amitie' Wines. Amazing QPR wine that delivers young. Stewed strawberry and that good barnyard bouquet, bright full red fruit, substantial polished mouthfeel. So good and paired perfectly with pho!

Left my notes behind at the tasting. Anyways a nice Beaune but it has this herbaceous streak and falls apart quite quickly. From Amitie Wines available at stores or from the importer.

May 20th, 2017Cranberry nose. Light red color. Very tight today and acidic. Tart. This producer has been highly rated but this 2013 tasted over 2 days is a dud. I do not taste enough stuffing for about 70$+ there is not enough fruit and flavor to be found. Bottle shock? I might revisit this wine but for now that is the rating.
