This was my note from my last tasting of this: Bought this after tasting at the vineyards. I usually avoid non N. Rhone viognier like the plague (or Covid, too soon?). But this was excellent, and compelling enough to make me buy more than 1 btl. Notes from Day 2 open, and in the fridge overnight, and then in a refrigerated bag during a hike followed by a long car ride. On the nose: peach, tangerine, lychee, so vibrant and with a soft minerality. On the palate: excellent acidity, which is always the problem outside the Rhone, good density...sappy without being overly oily, fantastic minerality on the palate with a soft bitter walnut note. Excellent.

This time, perhaps a bit less minerality.

Don't serve this one too cold. As in previous vintages, a pleasant slight effervescence along with a nice floral tartness. Wonderful with Nigella Lawson's Lemon and Tarragon Marinated Roast Chicken. I'll bet it would be great with seared scallops too.
