A decade old Cab straight from the mountains with murky lore? I'm here for that. Dark garnet with nice, long legs. Highly expressive nose of cherries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and black coffee. Did I mention fruit? Because this thing is all fruit. It teeters on the edge of becoming a fruit-bomb but never actually goes over. The palate is true to the nose. All bright red fruit. All ridiculously delicious. Spice on finish with some really nice acidity.

This wine is a recent find, but I love it.....so much rich dark fruit....needs a lot of breathing time to really mellow out, but pairs wonderfully with porterhouse.

Good cab, some lively spice notes brought out the dark fruits. All grounded by well structured tannins.
