Rare bird stand alone Sangiovese napa, it's got the components right dusty cherry black olive anise thing. Just a base hit though not a homerun.

While the signature Sangiovese flavor is there, this wine starts to resemble a Napa Cab. Red fruit, smoke, and pepper on the nose. Oak and cherry on the palate. Good, but not the best American Sangiovese.

Really great Sangiovese! Deep flavors fantastic for Italian food!! Still tastes pretty young, can imagine it would be amazing in a few years!
