The 2020 Mourvèdre is another super-classic Andremily wine in this vintage. Blackberry jam, cloves, menthol, licorice and sweet oak are all amplified in this potent Mourvèdre. There's a ton of textural intensity, but varietal character is a bit in the background in this warm year. The 2020 will drink well pretty much on release. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2023)

Beautiful!!! So smooth on palate and finish lasts longer than 3rd period of tonight's Oilers debacle in San Jose... was Mourvèdre not Syrah...

November’s 4th Friday was a big hit. There is no way I’ll be able to upload all the wines, nor give them the reviews they deserve, but there were a few worthy of mentioning!

The best Mourvèdre I’ve ever had. Spell binding stuff. Seductive like aromatics of sweet and gummy blue and black fruits wrapped in clove and sandalwood. Lighter on the palate than Andremily’s Syrah. Crunchy blueberries, puréed blackberries, sweet smoke, baking spices and graphite. Can only imagine how good this will be in a few years. Thanks

2022 vintage. Really well made and decidedly gorgeous. Could try to push it on the list but lots of other, better-deserving contenders currently. Heavy body alongside surprisingly quiet, yet substantial, dark stone and bramble fruit. Don’t sleep on this producer. 09.16.25

+1 hour decant(little fine/cloudy sediment). A gorgeous inky dark purplish black color. On the nose: brambly blackberry/plum, wet soil, orange peel, gravel, smoked meat. Taste: smooth, expressive wine with black cherry, plum jam, dried herbs, dark chocolate, bacon fat, and a white pepper cocoa long finish. YUM!
