A genius Klingelberger. What a nose. So floral. Flower shop levels. Little shop of insane dry Riesling. Gorgeous Mosel like fruit. Smells ripe and sweet but also bone dry. Green apples. Pear. Apricot. So vivid and detailed. Just wonderful. Lime blossom, sweet lime. Endless aromas. Fresh field level 10. But also rock quarry. Staggering young Klingelberger aromas. Palate is epic like a Norwegian Viking documentary epic. Dense, structured, deep man is this deep with just stunning purity and freshness. So vivid and so detailed. This is god level balance. So long. Never ends. The purity of this wine is just incredible. Amazing finesse and elegance and screamingly mineral and very very complex on the finish. This is a staggering young Klingelberger. 9.7. Yup. Just genius. Amazing concentration and depth. Really I can’t get over how good this is.

Apr 10th, 2020Man this is a smokeshow. Gorgeous nose. Orchard fruits, apple, pear, apricot and so so floral. Tangerine oil, citrus oil, so precise, evocative and expansive. Just brilliant. Lovely embiggening minerality. It’s extremely cromulent. Palate has incredible depth and wonderful fresh floral and intense citrus for days. So dense, juicy and complex with wonderful palate staining minerality, peach/apricot pith and intense juicy minerality. Wow this is juicy and structured. Amazing spine and somewhat tightly coiled but still explodes like a spring on the backend. Stunning length. Could use 5 more years. But wow. Stunner.

Mar 26th, 2019Nose has more layers than anything so far. Floral. It’s mineral. It’s got a deepness to the nose that is special. Insane acid and freshness and what depth. Lime blossom, Meyer lemon, less ripe than any other 17 so far. Long. Noble. Finished so mineral, classy dissipating finish..

Outstanding. Piercing apple peach fruit, and even tingly acids in the nose. Great minerality too. So fresh and juicy. Love this.

What a great vintage for this wine. Nose is fresh wet stones. Granite. So rocky. Palate is vibrant, deep and packed with fruits. Some tropical but also interspersed with deep clean minerality. This is so well fruited yet so dynamic and fresh it creates quite an impression on the palate. Stunning wine and has aged so well in just a few years. No rush, but in such a great place now.
