Cherry Point is a terrific restaurant in Green Point, Brooklyn. The food could perhaps be described as a hipster take on British and European classics. The beef and snail pie with parsley butter was delicious. The server suggested this Grenache based wine made by a Czech guy who moved to the Rhône to make low intervention wines. Medium to light bodied, earthy, gamey, barnyard. Rustic for sure but utterly appealing. Worth noting that I felt it was a ever so slightly fizzy, so can't imagine consistency is great. But for $45 off the list, I'd try it again for sure.

Jan 14th, 2018Yes. When these wines keep the VA in check, they're magic glou-glou juice. Crunchy, alive, blue & black, herbal and vibrant. Best Babiole in a long time.
