If you don’t like green apples, then this wine isn’t for you. A beautiful Blanc de Blanc with a very nice finish. More crisp than brioche. Best with food.

Nicely golden with minimal small bubbles. Abundant creaminess and toastiness. The nose is very welcoming and instantly expressive. Citrus is the word of the day. Green apples and pineapples absolutely soar here. A nice smear of honey and yeast, along with wet stone and lemon peel.

100% Chardonnay from…Bouzy? Well ok then, I can get with this. Grand Cru fruit with Brut dosage. Medium body and pure elegance that punches above its weight. Sleek and gratifying with plenty of crispness. Really comes alive in the large Winewings glass.

Fresh and round in the mouth. Comfortable acidity and much salinity. The palate is very fruit forward and concise. Tangerines and pears initially. Soft vanilla, nuts, and a hint of bread. Medium long finish that honestly leaves you wanting one more sip. These will show their full potential a few years down the road.

The 2006 Dream Vintage is a beautiful wine from Clouet. It displays a beautiful golden color and offers wonderful aromatics of apples and poached pear along with buttered brioche, white florals, salty minerals and a touch of hazelnut praline. On the palate this is broad shouldered, with plenty of depth, yet it remains precise and beautifully balanced with a lovely combination of acidity and minerality that persists through the finish. While this fantastic Champagne is drinking remarkably well today, it could also last another decade.
