Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards
Right Bank Napa Valley Red Blend
Dark ruby red. Big nose. Dark Cherry. Chocolate, Cab Franc powers through. Love this blend.

Feb 3rd, 2019Continuing to tap the original buys of Right Bank. Still beautiful nose. Perfume evolves into plums and spicy notes. Black cherry dominates.

Jan 6th, 2019Trying another bottle of ‘02. Man o man. Still delicious and seems even better than other bottles from that case. A river of black cherry and blackberry cascading over the tastebuds.

Jun 18th, 2021OMG... black fruited goodness, silky smooth, totally resolved tannins. I think this cab-franc, Merlot blend is Anderson Conn Valleys best cuvée. Ten years puts this elixir in a special place. I’ve almost weaned myself off Big Napa Bordeaux blends— then I pull this for a steak-house blowout. New world guilty pleasure. Amazing complexity, power, but baby-butt smoothness. Sometimes, it all seems to fit. It’s good to be alive!

May 6th, 2019Gentle and inviting nose of blueberry, plum, sweet bell pepper, and herbs with hint of cigar and lavender. Rich and velvety palate highlighted by linger chocolate flavors, and balanced nicely by the medium acidity. The high 15.5% ABV is well concealed.
For 2014, it’s a blend of 74/26 CF/Merlot. A most engaging wine.

Tight on open, probably needed a decant but i poured a glass immediately. Approachable and vibrant, full of bright, round black fruits. Tannins are restrained at this point. Interesting blend of 74% Cab Franc and 26% Merlot. Curious as 1 more percent in the CF direction and no more blend!
