I normally love Pinot Noir. I merely like this Pinot Noir. The aroma is gorgeous, but isn't carrying through to the palate. I smell earth, cherry cola, bright raspberry. I taste flat cherry. It burns a bit, unbalanced? 14.2% alcohol & Napa fruit could be the culprit. It's too big. Big & flat. Darn.

Flavorful, fruit forward, earthy Pinot! Started with a sweet strawberry edge and turned into tart, earthy strawberry/plum with a dry and almost spicy finish.

Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyard visit. Although this was an enjoyable wine, I would not have guessed Pinot blind. Non-estate. Mrs A loved it.
