On the palate this full-bodied wine shows flavors of blackberry, plum, spice, tomato leaf, black olive and smoke, firm tannins on a short finish ending with herbal earthy character. Drink now, no aging benefit.

Smells of plums, dark ripe black cherries ... almost plum and cherry jam. Taste is more mellow ... still get a bit of the plum and black cherry but more subdued. Nice acid and some sour notes on the finish.
