Dark, near black purple. Inviting (but surprisingly tame) nose of bitter blueberries and patent leather. Full-bodied palate is smooth (very mild tannins and medium-ish acidity) and yields ripe blueberries in 90% dark chocolate in a patent leather bowl. Medium finish continues the palate. Excellent Paso red with three BBQ- ready varieties (Syrah, Malbec, Petit Verdot). Grilled meats with a tangy sauce are a natural. Drink now through 2024.

Rich but a nice touch of acid from the PV, bramble berry, lil pepper, spicebox, it's good. Worth the $ but not a crazy value
