Cali at its best. A textbook cab. Prodigious in the glass. The nose is exotic and sweet. In the glass, the wine is dark and intimidating. But on the palette, it embraces your senses. Maybe kirsch and maple syrup - sublime...

A great Cabernet. Lots of spice with a lot more blackberry and smoke for this amazing wine. Will look forward to more of these anakota!

So good! It is aging beautifully. Easily has another 10-15 years of cellaring. Hope I can control myself to be patient and spread the consumption of the remaining bottles over this time frame.

Okay, call me a baby killer if you want but I needed to crack one of these open so that I could monitor its progression. Another phenomenal Knight's Valley Cab. This will be better tomorrow as it opens and the other 11 will sit in the cellar for at least another 5 years. Just Terrific. Great nose, inky purple color but not overly complex nor contrived, just plain good from start to finish.

The postman failed me today, so we'll end the day with @Ron R 's other gift, Nice Cabernet, needs a decant to open up as most 2010's ,

Still a young pup and needs many more years, but still in its infancy showcased an elegance that is very enjoyable. Displaying an earthy presence with a bit of metallic undertones and great fruit this is a fantastic wine.

I would now rate closer to 9.3-9.4 after an hour or so being opened
