Morningsong Vineyards Syrah

A little closed at first; smoky, but like smoked salmon, and fishy is a little off-putting in wine. Loads of black fruit and a touch of black pepper and black olives. For 10 years old, still firm tannins.

Nice solid Sonoma Syrah, especially with a decant. Decent earth and olive and black fruit quality. Tannins are already quite balanced. Good pairing with griddled smash burgers to round out 4th of July weekend.

Dark berries, ripe plums, smoky tobacco, peppercorn and chocolatey at the end. Full body with medium acidity and tannins. Quite smooth on the palate with primarily black fruits flavor.

Desert island wine

Good table wine

Booze forward with fruit balance.

Lots of blueberry, nice spiciness, a bit sweeter. Paired with sesame well.

This wine is better than you.

A unique sparkling wine. Notes of black currant and cherries. Perfect to share with friends, as that is the intention of Amista wines.

Dry with sour (lemony?) cherry. Not super complex, but a very tasty Syrah
