The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is laced with dark cherry, plum, mocha, dark spice and chocolate. In 2021, the Reserve is a bit softer and less opulent than it can be, and that adds to its overall immediacy. Once again, it is one of my favorite wines in this range. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2023)

Drank 6/13/19. Tasting event. Tasting pour.

BlackBerry, raspberry, plum, and a hint of soil on the nose. Very well balanced with black fruit, plums, soil, and leather. Long, well balanced finish, with black fruit. Preferred drastically to the 2014.

4/21/8/5/4 +50=92 pts.

Drank 7/12/18. Tasing event.

Tar and black fruit on the nose. Flavors of big jammy red fruit with some blueberry mixed in. Some tannins on the fruit driven finish

3/24/6/3/3 +50 = 89 pts.

Needs a nice steak to mix with the jamminess

Classic Napa Cab. And the fruit sourced to make this is unreal. Not cheap but still a value.

Wow! I gave the ‘16 a 91, this is better! Deep ruby in color. The nose is coffee, tobacco, and... something...
Mouthfeel is great. There’s tea, bramble, tar, with black fruit fighting to come out, sweet molassessy blackberry I’m going to call it. The tannins are great, well integrated throughout. I’m having to peel my lips from my teeth at points, but this isn’t hard. Ready now. Get some! I love this!

Not overly impressed. Poor approach and lacking much structure, didn't live up to its ruby color and rustic nose
