Had all the nose and palate of a cool climate Aussie Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills or Yarra Valley for example. Peppery with hung meat bloody aromas. An uncanny likeness. Much preferred the Nebbiolo. When in Rome do as the Romans!

Stefano Amerighi, Syrah 2012 Cortona DOC : nez de fruits noirs, cuir, syrah typique. Bouche souple, magnifique acidité, clafoutis, tabac, poivre blanc. Un très beau rouge.
