Pale lemon in colour. Love WA Chenins. Notes of Kiwi Fruit and green tomato on nose. Funky. Off dry. Medium bodied- no oak. Why do people drink NZ Savvies when they could drink this?

Ah the good old Amberley Chenin Blanc which I know is a staple tipple in many fridges! It's about $14 a bottle at Dan Murphy's and is an off dry style that is very easy drinking. A great match for spicy food!

It's a pale yellow on the eye with a slight green tinge to it. Aromas of ripe tropical fruits and candied citrus jump out for me. The palate is juicy with pineapple, lychee and honey dominating. The perfect partner to pad Thai with extra chilli!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Souvenirs, souvenirs... Surprising grape variety, a Chenin Blanc from 2013, smells like petrol at first, rubber (not in a bad way of course). Not acidic on the palate, aromatic but not too much! Really fresh and clean. Aussie, Oi.
