Hibiscus, slight soy, rose, taste is similar, rusty, acids over tannins

Light color, alcohol and fruity smell. First glass woody with lots of floral and fruity tones. 30 min decant brings the fruit forward smooth with alcohol still in the foreground. 5 hours decanting and the wine came into its own less alcohol more mossy and fruit flavors have mellowed out

For a 10 year old entry level Pinot, this was remarkably good. It pours a pale, translucent crimson similar to cranberry juice. Despite being a decade old it was surprisingly primary with hallmark cherry notes as well as baking spice and cedar box. It was fresh and vibrant on the palate with nice acidity and even some salinity. It worked well with food, but could certainly easily be drunk on its own. A wine from a wonderful producer that drinks well above its price point.

Got this wine in Oregon for a steal apparently. Nice soft nose of cherry, strawberries and red cassis. Palate cherries, cinnamon and slight nutmeg. Very light tannins. Drink now not going to age
