Aug 15th, 20161998: Given plenty of oxygen, while we passed around the remaining dregs pour. Deep plum aroma. A purity to the fruit, with a velvety mouthfeel, although, then the pithy tannic structure kicks in and reminds one that this wine will require more aging, yet also deliver something even more profound and ethereal. Like having lunch with Barack Obama while still at Harvard, the best is yet to come.
