Colonia las Liebres Mendoza Bonarda

Big fruit, spice, green herbal notes, licorice. Amazing mouth feel and color for a 2011 drank in 2017. Dark cerise and earthyness make this a well balanced everyday drinker!

Bonarda bent on overtaking Malbec, even if entirely different in style. Though similarly deeply colored, this one is more like Gamay to Malbec's Merlot comparable.

One of the few places on earth you find great Bonarda

First time trying a Bonarda. I enjoyed this wine. Leathery on the nose which sticks around until it opens up, then there's some nice herb and wet leaves, dark plum and black cherry. High acid on the palate up front with a medium plus body. Smooth finish, mellow tannins. Easy drinking overall but a bit big for my own taste. I prefer with food. Will drink again

What the hell is this

More impressed with the label illustration than the wine. Will go back to Argentina just not to this wine.
