A rich wine a nose of polished, oak, tangerine rich on the palette, plums red fruits, raspberry and cherries sandalwood and mocha, warm burnished golden wine like a noble renaissance painting

I was not at all a fan when this was first opened, as it had a strong funk on the nose and seemed austere on the palate. With 4-5 hrs of air, it blossomed into something quite nice. Medium bodied, red fruited, and accented by leather and subtle herb. Finishes dry and long.
