It's says Napa, but I think it's from the Douro. Heat on the nose, but not unpleasantly so. Correspondingly, huge dark fruit on the palate. Incredibly extracted. Structure and tannins in balance. Medium-long finish. Quite good, but like fudge--a little goes a long way.

A great wine gifted to me from a work friend. 1 hr decant, could've used 2 as it continued to evolve in the glass. Cassis, muted dark berries but smoothed over tannins. Excellent paired with my steak a la @Shawn R
