Before i tasted it i thought it smelled too oaky, Cooked down bramble fruit behind. Basically a stupid wine. Oak and jam.

Deep purple with notes of blueberry raspberry and cacao. Rick and velvety with flavors of prune, raisin, plums, stewed fruits, and black pepper. Tannins are present but in control. Very nice and went great with our flank steak, chimichurri sauce, and grilled potatoes and zucchini. Slightly on the decline at this point.

Not as good as the Alta Vista Terroir Selection Malbec 2013 also tried on the same day even though this is supposed to be superior. Very smooth - almost too much so. But very nice!

V11. Very dark juice. Soft white pepper and cedar bouquet. Rich, deep blackberry , plum, spice, tar and violet fruit. Soft, chalky finish. Lots of words , but really balanced and very good!
