Gorgeous and silken, the 2019 Generation Dix-Neuf is a ball of beautiful, silky, concentrated Pinot Noir. Savory and smoky, it seems effortless, although it's clearly been anything but based on the impeccable quality. It caresses the palate. There's intensity and density here but no weight. Complex nose of yellow apples, pears and pear blossom with hints of honey. Layered palate with yellow apples, green pear and a touch of honey sweetness. Has great length and complexity! Feels like a wine made from grapes grown in Silex.
