Good Chardonnay for Cali. Very ripe and round up front with that hint of expensive vanilla oak. Not over the top but delivers a nice backend acidity to clean the palate and leave u wanting more. Well done

Yes it's flabby, but that sweet vanilla butterscotch caramel, slaughtered the homemade mac&cheese got marshmallow nose, and for it's age the acidity is crisp, fire toasted marshmallow almond paste on tongue, do not put this bitch on a diet cause big gurls don't cry! Also it killed carrot cake! They don't cryyyy they don't cry!

Massive 2x4 explosion, butter, apple pie, almond, creme fresh. Huge weight, good length.

Oct 5th, 2016Really good usage of oak on this Chardonnay, so much so that I don't mind the buttered toast notes I get on the palate. I get that and a lot of baked red apple, clove and a touch of cinnamon. I enjoy this quite a bit.

I opened this wine and poured into a white burgundy glass. I took a sip and immediately poured into a red burgundy glass and let it warm up and sit for 45 minutes. I think it's so much better than the 09 and 10. The acidity surrounds the wine so nicely. Yes... it's got classic AO butterscotch/vanilla extract/toasted notes. It's so much more grounded than previous vintages. It's not the most complex wine. I knew that when I purchased it. A somewhat guilty pleasure. The 12 is the best so far.
