Deep ruby color throughout with pretty slow forming legs. Nose of red and black fruit with licorice and incense. Opening of black fruit favoring black cherry and black plum with licorice and great minerality of granite & wet stones. Medium-full bodied with average acidity and smooth, almost sweet tannins - I LOVED IT

Beckstoffer To Kalon is an amazing historic vineyard and this wine doesn't disappoint. Classic Napa Cab profile with Black Cherry fruit and nice oak integration. Long life ahead for this wine.

A beautiful wine. Deep purple. Fabulous bouquet. Cherries, blackberries, and currants. Drinking wonderfully now, and should last a while longer (which is a good thing, since I have one more bottle).

Oct 20th, 2018Outstanding! Rich, cherry, mocha, blackberry, dark chocolate. Well structured with a long finish. Paired with wild boar — phenomenal. Decanted for about three to four hours — glad I did it. A great wine by one of my favorite wineries.
