I would classify this under "refreshing." Tons of IPAs are bold, sock you in the nose hoppy. This backs off the IBUs just slightly and adds a slight fruity/lemony finish that is, well, refreshing. I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't live in California and likely can't get their hands on nice craft brews like this.

Odd, woody aroma and flavor. Overwhelming malt presence with surprisingly mild hop profile. Brewed at end of August, so plenty fresh. Maybe a bad bottle
