Creamy, lush, somewhat rounded texture. Caramel, butterscotch notes overpower the apple/pear/stone fruit character. Well-crafted as always, but I was hoping to find more balance and purity.

Alma de Cattleya Sonoma County Chardonnay 2019: Intense aromas. Bright flavors. Nice balance & acidity. Lemon, caramel & oak with a creamy, round textured finish. 100% Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Overall, an impressive & lovely wine from a new, unfamiliar winery. Looking forward to trying a few of their other grape varietals. Cheers🍷
