Bourgogne Aligoté

Vintage 2022 | Fresh, saline, minerals. Aligoté is confusing to recognize when tasting blind, it can also be rather meager. But this Aligoté is textbook: fine citrus in smell, tones of Granny Smith in first sips, very very vibrant and juicy. You long to a new sip of the wine. Paired with Asian yaki udon with pointed cabbage, oystermushrooms, bacon strips and a viscous sauce in which I added a bit saké.

Marine / tropical in a chiseled yet generous frame. Always great.

Finishing too quickly! I need to get more de Moor.

Salinity, ripe lemon, stony minerality, white flowers, and hints of white pepper. Richly textured on the palate with a touch of pleasant phenolic bitterness to finish off mushroomy soup we had.

Fresh, delicate and tasty. Must try for anyone that hasn't tried any Aligoté.

Little too much VA tonight. Perhaps a cork issue as wine had crawled up it halfway.

Bright, mineral, floral with that signature de Moor lift.

Best Aligote wine I've had by miles. Tastes like Burgundy, but has real textural and flavor intrigue

Incredible texture at just 11.4 percent. De Moor simply kills it every single time.

Don't talk shit about Aligote.
