Oct 14th, 2024As expected: on the young side of the spectrum. Citric and some sharp semi ripe pineapple. Mineral hints and zest bitters. Try again in a year

Apr 30th, 2021Pale lemon color with moderate aromas of lime, blossom, mineral and green apple. Medium sweet with plenty of crisp acidity to keep the wine in balance. On the palate, lemon, honey and pear. Medium finish. Good, but it lacks the focus to be great.

Aug 23rd, 2018A frustrating wine as someone who is a devout fan. You can tell the vintage got them. It's not at all bad but pretty out there and does not read classic Mosel by any means. I think Terry Theise called it Mosel Riesling on a bender.

Appearance: Pale straw color, slightly viscous.
Taste: very mineral driven, moderately sweet, sucks the moisture out of your mouth. Citrusy, grapefruit and lemon.

Shockingly good. Spätlese. Surprisingly fresh. Sweet, sure, but with brilliant acidity that has it pair beautifully with a summer lunch. I'd like to thank me 14 years ago for being so forward thinking. You're welcome.
