Although this wine is always going in and out of style, it is guaranteed to raise a smile. I only wish this bottle was a vintage from 20 years ago today! It is perfectly balanced, medium bodied, with less pepper and more smoothness than the name might suggest. It went well with light Italian cuisine.

As the name suggests, this is a spicy and peppery Wine; it is a big red with lots of layers of flavor and minimal residual sugar.
