This wine is 100% petit Verdot. It's interesting to try this grape on its own, which is usually in the Bordeaux blend. It carries the distinct aroma from Bordeaux wine, but the taste is much less complex. It was great to learn about the grape, but as a drink it was a bit too light-bodied and simple.
