Fascination Grand Cru Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs

Very apple cider driven with bruised pears, pineapples, citrus. Micro bubbles with lots of finesse.

We drank this with Alexandre LeBrun at home- he was visiting to do some tastings at K&L. This comes from his tiny plot in Chouilly grand cru in the Monts Aigu parcel... In the picture just to the left of the bottle! The cleanest of Blanc de Blancs with precise white fruit and minerality that goes on forever, it is hard not to get carried away with. A treat.

Happy New Year! This great bottle comes from just two rows in the Mont Aigu parcel in the grand Cru of Chouilly. It has fresh bread aromas, lovely Chablis like earth on the palate and cracking chalky length. Spectacular wine! A toast to you all and to a great 2015!

Great single vineyard BdB from the Mont Aigu parcel in Chouilly, just near the Cramant border- with leftover sandwiches and out of a plastic cup. Next stop SFO!
