Tart raspberry, tart cherry, cranberry, cedar, menthol, cigar box, black tea, fresh oak, and sage. High alcohol and medium plus acid and tannins. Long finish. This is a big wine that needs a protein food paring.

Oct 22nd, 2019Spice and cherry on the nose. More spice and stewed cherry on the palate with molasses, cedar, and oak. Moderate acid in the finish that coats the whole tongue and lingers well after the rest is gone. Drinking bright and fresh with high alcohol, I think this would pair well with a Philly Cheesesteak, pastrami, and various sausage dishes.
