Natural Syrah from Sicily. Somewhat inky color, this wine is surprisingly refined and sharp. Fruity and peppery, with a long austere finish.

Was hanging with Aldo the other night and it got predictably messy. All his wines were good, but there was a white that I didn't get a snap of that was divine. I'll look into it again and report back.

Une belle Syrah fraîche et vivante
Sicilian Syrah, stainless steel, organic, natural yeast, no filtration no added sulphur.
First impression: no volatile acidity, no Brett. It's not a must have with natural wines apparently. Violets, cherry, liquorice, touch of pear. med high tannins, nice acidity, no RS. Violets palate. Peppery aftertaste. Want to retaste this one in say three to five years.
