Found at Grocery Outlet for $5.99. Worth 3x than that. But for the pedigree of the vineyard it really underperformed. Marsanne/Roussanne blend. Had kind of a weird soapy texture a low acid. Odd wine.

Oct 26th, 201713.2% alc.
57% Rousanne, 29% Marsanne, 14% Viognier.
A bit light and simple on the palate (perhaps due to the 13.2% ABV) but the Viognier component brings enough fresh, spiced fruitiness to still make this an enjoyable and very quaffable Summer sipper by the pool.
Followed over two days I find nice improvements with air so I think this may actually show better in 12+ months.

May 26th, 2017Much better on day 2-3. That's not to say after popping the cork it was bad, but just a bit clumsy with the fruit and acid being off balance. As it oxidized those elements softened and though it wasn't totally in balance it was still very enjoyable. Viscous, golden apple, golden melon, hints of acid and oak give lift and add to the mouthfeel.
