Star bright pale straw. Shy nose and subtle palate (that blossoms over time) of Bosc pear and magnolia blossom. Zingy (medium plus) acidity wrapped in a surprisingly big (medium) body. Medium long, appley finish. A PG that’s made for food. Pinot Grigio’s lineage (it’s a mutation of Pinot Noir, after all) makes well made versions a natural pair for a wide range of “white wine” fare. Seafood, roast poultry, green vegetables, pork dishes, chicken and dumplings, all will show well with this at the side. Drink now.

Oct 2nd, 2020Easy drinking Pinot Grigio. It's not as dry as others -- maybe that's why I like it. Quite acidic, fresh, lemony, parmigian-y umami taste. Has a prosecco-like feel, minus the bubbles.
Great with a Robbie Sweet Potatoe and 5 min steamed Broccoli.

Jan 19th, 2024As Pinot goes, it is not too dry, and that is fine by me. It has fresh, slightly citrusy and hay smell with a smooth, slightly sweet body, and clean finish. Really enjoyed it with cacio& pepe
