Melon, lemon curd, limestone and seaspray nose. Some apple and subtle lily fragrance. Battery acid palate. But fairly dense for an albarino. Just so acidic you can hardly tell. Very salty. Savory, almost buttery in its umami. This is a great wine but hard to drink at this point. I think it needs maybe 5 probably 10 years to mellow.

Oro pajizo y limpidez alta, nariz de intensidad baja notas cítricas y notas de tiza. En boca buena entrada, fruta en boca, frescura y buena potencia final muy interesante, mucha chicha todavía muy joven.... sorprendentemente fresco pese a ser 2016.

There is a level of density and class to the Rias Biaxas of Nanclares which seems to elevate the wines above the rest of the appellation. Quintessential but out of the ordinary. Reminds me of the ways that Dagueneau or Miani transcends. This 2013 has pedigree and such a youthful fervor, no hurry here.
