Pinot Noir
Mint, dried tea leaves, peppercorn, little/no oak, and fruits playing the second fiddle here: red plum, juicy red and black cherry. A whiff of VA and smoke.. Moderate plus acidity, tight tannins, and relatively fuller bodied (13%, for Pinot)..

Aug 9th, 2023(“S”) light red body, ripe fruit forward nose, perhaps very light earth note. Ripe cherry, very nice acidity, not as much aromatic complexity but the fruit, acidity and structure is very elegant.

Oct 29th, 2022It has been awhile since I have had a still wine from Alsace. I love the elongated bottle! Beautiful medium translucent ruby red in color..I let this decant all afternoon! Kermit Lynch tasting note indicated that this is ready to drink now!!
Really nice Pinot Noir..the fruit is there..tart
cherry..cranberries & raspberry. Earth and baking spices are the star of this wine..cinnamon..black tea leaves...nutmeg and crushed rocks. Pinot Noir from Alsace....who would have thought!! 🙃
