Incorporating 10% Syrah, the Grenache-dominated 2011 Pandora comes from a single block of chalky soils in the Seymour's Vineyard.

Not a good year...but what a great wine. In our tasting group our friends scored it 96-99 pts but for me this is a 100 pointer !

Whoa mama! I think I might have found a near-rival to the Sami-Odi. Emphasis is on 'near.' This wine has POWER. Next to a 2012 Lillian, it just seemed to have more going on. This one in my opinion does not go to the savory meaty side, and is maybe a little bit more to the fruit side. Powerful black fruit, baking spices, nutmeg, caramel apple, plums, hint of grilled meat that I was getting more on the finish. Also quite peppery on the finish. Really nice. This one could probably be cellared for another decade at a minimum, but a really nice wine opened tonight!

Needs a couple of years to peak...but still fantastic (especially after an awesome set of talks by Elad!).

Super Bowl Sunday! Decanted for 2+ hours, super dark, almost black, sweet nose, acid mid pallet challenges the fruit and continues through to the finish where it blends with the tannins. This needs time to (hopefully) develop.
