This feels like the kid next door. Your parents are friends with their parents. You're the same age. You grew up playing on the street together. Then one day things changed. You drifted apart. You had a past, but no future. In a similar vein, I want to like this wine more, but it's seems too fruity for my Pinot preferences. Like Thomas Bond, this wine will be ceded to a memory of a childhood friend whom I never think about again (well, except for now)... redux: day 2 is much better. Reflected in the rating change.
