Could stand to age for a few more years

Fruity/jammy, but the tannins immediately dry your palate (a bit stronger than I expected). Tasted blackberry and plum. Mild notes of chocolate.

For my 50th birthday (4/30/24)

Medium purple in color; blackberries, plums, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like raspberries, boysenberries (I think), red pepper flakes, and clay pots with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it, but I do. Great for the price.

Easy drinker and the price is right.
Getting rich notes of the berries and full bodied mouthful that lingers.

A solid Malbec for a solid price!
