Nose of plums with hints of leather. On the palate, forward notes of ripe plums, definitely a modern style. Good grip but slightly thin in the middle. Finish is shorter than it should be as well. Not a lot of complexity.

Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Color is garnet more than ruby. The nose is red fruit, maybe oranges? Hard to differentiate at this moment but maybe some raspberry. It is dry. Red fruit with tobacco, juicy but then it fades quickly with the dryness. Very good.

Nice medium bodied gigondas. Paired amazingly with my tomahawk. Black berries, peppercorns, bay leaf and eucalyptus.

Wild flowers and herbs on the nose. Candied red fruits on the palate mixed with a bitterness that is a bit off-putting. Hot alcohol with residual sugar. Medium tannins with a candy finish. Underwhelming at this price.
