2014 vintage. Lower acidity than I'd expect from a cab, which is just fine by me. Slightly sweeter than I'd hoped - distractingly so. Medium bodied nonetheless, with just the right tannin. Plums.

Mr. Akiyoshi continues to impress with this medium bodied cocktail Cabernet. Fresh blueberry and subtle blackberry flavors mingle over a bright smooth mouthfeel reminiscent of cider.

Let me preface this by saying that I am a major David Akiyoshi fan. This wine was not really to my taste. The acidity was very high and unbalanced it for me. It is possible that I got a bad bottle; I will try another and update this review.

Fruitier notes, smells sweet. Strawberry and blackberry notes, slight hint of smokiness. Smooth aftertaste and light tannins.
