A big PN, this wine is mercifully light on the oak. It is on the heavy side of medium with rich terroir - lots of mineral, clay, mushroom, and chalk. The extremely restrained fruits are plum, black currant, red bell pepper, and bitter melon. It was a perfect accompaniment to lemon sesame teriyaki salmon with green beans.

Lots of berry flavor. Sort of one note. Not bad, but not very good either.
