Willamette Dry Gewürztraminer

Varietally correct and bone dry. Had dried pineapple, lychee fruit, green apple skins, dried white flowers, orange rind and some spices like clove.

Its ok. I could not get over a strong penicillin taste. I was pretty disappointed because I’ve heard great things about Riesling from Finger Lakes but I’ll stick with German until someone brings a good one to me.

The muller thurgau. Very sweet, strong banana. Pretty funky and fun.

Very dry with melon, rose, spice and a vibrant finish. Only 607 cases produced. Yummy.

2014 vintage. Good warm spice aromas with a fairly creamy palate (as far as Gewürz goes...). Canned pear, unripe pineapple, green almond, green apple, slightly bitter floral qualities, orange peel. Medium-intensity, at best, but might work since it is quite dry. Good turkey and fixin's wine.
