Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Nice nose of blueberries, cherries, licorice, oak, sweet vanilla bean, leather, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead, tar, dark coffee and black pepper.
Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, black currants, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, smoke, chocolates, leather, herbs and peppercorn.
Medium plus in finish with medium grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a very enjoyable Tuscan red. Nicely balanced with mild complexity. Shows a nice, gentle mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins and a nice tangy bite at the ending.
Enjoyable by itself or with food. A good party wine and good wine to pair with food.
Feels more like a nice California Cabernet - Merlot blend.

Had another two. Both good. But realized that it’s not as fragrant 2days after I opened it. This is one of those wines you open and drink that night or finish by the next day.
