Oct 22nd, 2023When first opened, a syrupy flavor to this Israeli wine. This wine is a Bordeaux blend but there is no resemblance to Bordeaux. This wine reminds me of the characteristically bad red wines that New York State was making in the 1980s. But after two hours opened, the wine’s flavor improved significantly and developed a licorice flavor, and the overwhelming sweetness went away. Still not a great wine but not as bad as when it was first opened.
