Stellar. Ethereal on the nose, cab franc and syrah dominant. Serious on the palette, very polished tannin. Full fruit and herbal character on mid palette through finish. 20 yrs plus drinking window.

Nov 2023: very nice after half an hour decant, black fruit, very soft, polished tannins. Would benefit if tannins were stronger, otherwise great wine.

A good Super Tuscan. Has power, but has a sleek texture with tangy acidity providing focus. Probably needs more time in bottle.
