Founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni, and now managed and owned by Sebastiano Cossia Castiglionii. Blend of sangiovese, merlot and cabernet, from organic grapes, lovely nose of fruit, floral and spice. On the palate cherry and plum flavors with earthy herb notes, touch of spicy cacao. Fine tannins, good balance, medium finish ending with earthy character. Nice value.

Jul 24th, 2020Juicy, ultra smooth blend. Easy drinking wine. Blackberry jam, mossy forest notes on the nose. Could see this being a crowd pleasure for folks who don't like big tannic reds.
